"Virtual" Jagdgeschwader 51 Molders

JG51,as it is now,came about after Bigd and Fear's original squad "The Texas Tornadoes" began to leave the game.The Texas Tornadoes were the first squad Bigd and Fear belonged to in Warbirds.In 2001 that squad started to fall apart due to folks leaving the game for one reason or the other.Bigd and Fear began to want to create their own squad.Jg51 had been around long before Bigd and Fear had wanted to form a dedicated Jg squad but the original JG51 left Warbirds and started flying in the virtual skies of IL-2.With the original members of JG51's permission Bigd and Fear along with another former Texas Tornado and long time friend Chumly reformed JG51 in the summer of 2001.Soon after came Synrgy,Rikoff,Guntr,Rudel,Deacon(a member of the original JG51) and SQUEEZ.The rest of the members started falling in place soon after and still to this day JG51 has continued to grow into a large and very lethal online group.JG51 strives to be the best in the business of flying Luftwaffe aircraft in Warbirds but we are also very laid back bunch of folks who mainly love to have fun. If you meet us in the virtual skies one can only advise to "check six". ;-)

Squad motto is "Tod Von Oben" meaning "Death From Above".
